Working principle:
Stainless steel Y-type manual angle seat valve is identical to that of a globe valve, but it features a unique Y-shaped body design. This Y-shaped structure enlarges the flow passage area within the valve chamber, resulting in smoother fluid flow, minimizing flow resistance, and effectively increasing the flow rate by approximately 30%.
During manual operation, rotating the handwheel or handle drives the valve stem and the internal closure member (valve disc/plug) to move in a straight vertical line. When the valve disc is lifted away from the seat, the valve opens to allow the medium to pass through; when the disc is pressed tightly against the seat, the valve closes to stop the flow. This design not only makes opening and closing effortless and ensures durable sealing surfaces, but also provides nearly linear regulating performance, enabling excellent control over the medium's flow rate.
